Elizabeth welcomes every background and identity from all walks of life who want to bring out their strengths to do the deep work of healing the body and the spirit.
In many cultures, sharing tea and fruit is how we show love, settle disputes, and tell our stories. At Fruitea Therapy, Elizabeth believes every person is a unique blend of heritage, identity, and experience worth holding space for. She supports her community by going beyond the talk space - specializing in a blend of traditional dialogue, shifting deep-rooted beliefs, and somatic body attunement.

The Fruitea Experience: What to Expect
Therapy at Fruitea goes beyond traditional venting. Where you are feeling nervous, sad, hopeless, numb, anger, conflicted, ambivalent, Elizabeth creates a dynamic, body-centered space where individuals move from feeling stuck to feeling steeped in their own strengths. Think of this process as tending to a garden. We aren't just pulling weeds, we are exploring what is in the garden, taking note of the strengthens in the garden, the areas that need tending, and enriching the soil.
In the therapy world, Elizabeth supports you through:
Somatic Mapping (Exploring the Roots): Stress isn't just a thought; it has a physical address. Stress can take many forms such as tense muscles, stomach aches, headaches, irregular periods, acne, hair loss, weakened immune systems, autoimmune diseases and panic, to name a few. Elizabeth helps pinpoint exactly where tension has taken root in the body. By identifying these physical echoes, she guides the way in releasing built-up conscious and unconscious emotions, allowing the body to finally exhale what it has been holding onto for years.
Active Navigation (Sitting in the Storm): As an intuitive navigator, Elizabeth helps map out the muck of uncomfortable feelings. She doesn't watch from the sidelines; she stays right there in the thick of the weather, inviting others to explore the storm until the clouds begin to lift and the path forward becomes travelable.
EMDR Integration (Pruning the Past, Experiencing the Current, and Calming the Future): For those unsettled by previous, current and future stories, Elizabeth uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to take the sting out of the thorns. EMDR helps the brain re-file memories so the disturbing story no longer dictates, allowing for emotional healing that logic alone can’t reach. Read more about how Elizabeth explains EMDR!
The Power of Humor (Sunlight Through the Leaves): Elizabeth believes healing is deep work, but it doesn't have to be somber. She skillfully integrates wit and humor to break the tension, acting as rays of sunlight that makes the therapeutic journey feel grounded, human, and even lighthearted.
A Sanctuary for Growth (Adding the Swing to the Garden): Expect a therapist who is warm, truly cares, and entirely real. Elizabeth fosters an environment where the fruity, the complex, and the vibrant parts of one’s identity are celebrated. Together, we don't just plant new seeds; we add the trampolines and swings—the coping skills and joys—that make your inner garden a place you actually want to be.
